What is a will?
A will is a carefully prepared document outlining your specific plan for distributing your assets and personal property in the event of your death, and for making provisions for your children and/or pets.
Do I need a will?
At LifePlan Lawyer, it is our firm belief that everyone needs to have an Estate Plan, and that includes a will. For some, a will may be the only document that they need. Generally, this is for cases where someone has less than $184,500 in total assets, and their estate and family situation is relatively simple. Otherwise, a Trust Package is probably your best bet.
